About Fireside was launched by Brian J. White in 2012; it has since been nominated for multiple Hugo Awards and has grown to include a book-publishing arm. Fireside's goals are to publish great stories regardless of genre, and to promote fair pay for authors, editors, illustrators, and all publishing staff.
