About

Touch means many things to many people, and it occurs in different ways and takes different forms. We feel the touch of the first warm breeze of spring, that calming, enveloping sense of hope for better days to come just as we feel pain in the prick of a splinter. We sense the touch of humanity when we read of or observe a parent who searches for a lost child following a catastrophe just as we sense the touch of memory in a cherished moment from our past. We experience touch during moments of connection when we observe a sunset on a western shore just as we experience touch at times of personal loss. Touch: The Journal of Healing promotes poetry and prose from around the world that speaks of the physical, the emotional, and the universal, spiritual touch of humanity.
