About

Smash Cake Magazine is a twice-yearly, perfect-bound, print publication open to all genres, lengths, styles, and voices. We welcome both experienced authors and newbies alike; we know what we’re looking for, and we don’t care what you’ve done before. Our magazine is dedicated to capturing life–the good, the bad, the smelly, the golden–and sharing that back to our readers. We believe there’s an instinctive, unmistakable, and primal Ingredient X that a human being can recognize in someone when honesty is at play, and we seek to uncover it. We collect passion–of all varieties.
