Anubis Magazine This project is believed to be defunct. (August 2013) About ANUBIS is a magazine dedicated to finding and nurturing young talent. All stories and illustrations within our pages come from teenagers. We here at ANUBIS magazine have a solemn belief that the encouragement of a child- of any child for any reason- is paramount to his/her chances of finding true fullfillment in life. It is therefore our mission to discover, foster, and eventually release young talent to the world. Once there, our hope is that it will soon flourish and help inspire the youth of tomorrow. We also intend ANUBIS to be not merely an outlet for aspiring authors and artists, but also proof positive of that long-held believe that children can and will surprise us, if only they are given half a chance. Each issue of ANUBIS will feature up to two stories and two illustrations by teens of each age level (from 13 to 19). This format has been chosen so middle schoolers will never compete with college freshman for a place in our magazine. Selection, however, is strict. We do not publish in order to simply "fill" our pages. We publish only worthy pieces. It is entirely possible that an age group may be completely omitted in any given issue.
